Privacy and security

How we protect your information

A plain-English explanation of what happens to your answers after you tap Submit, and the controls behind it.

Encrypted in transit

Every page on Quotient is served over HTTPS (TLS 1.2 or higher). Information you type in the quote form travels encrypted between your browser and our systems, and HSTS tells browsers to never load the site unencrypted.

Stored in a restricted intake system

Quote requests go to a private intake workspace that only named, licensed staff can open, protected by two-step verification. Your health answers are kept in a separate, restricted area from your contact details.

Shared only to get you a quote

We share your information only with the licensed agent handling your request and the insurers you choose to apply with. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not sell leads to other agencies.

No credit checks, no surprise pulls

Getting a quote on Quotient does not involve a credit check. An insurer may review prescription history, motor vehicle records or medical records during underwriting, and only after you apply and authorize it.

Formula and script injection protection

Everything you type is sanitized before it is stored, so a stray character can never execute as code in our systems.

You can finish later without an account

If you save your quote to finish later, your answers are encoded in a private link that only you hold. We do not store a copy on a server until you submit the request.

Retention with an expiration date

Requests that never become applications are deleted on a schedule rather than kept forever. Ask us at any time to see or delete what we have.

Your choices

  • See it or delete it. Email info@choosequotient.com and we will show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it.
  • Stop calls or texts. Reply STOP to any text, or tell the agent. Consent to be contacted is never a condition of getting a quote.
  • Opt out of tracking. See the online tracking opt-out guide. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context advertising.

Marketing disclosures

Products, rates and availability vary by state and eligibility, and may depend on your truthful answers to a health questionnaire. Rates shown are illustrative estimates and are not guaranteed; your final premium is set by the insurance company after it reviews your application. Insurance is issued by third-party insurance companies, not by Quotient. Images on this site are for illustrative purposes and do not show real customers. Quotient does not provide legal, tax or investment advice.

No-exam and accelerated underwriting: Getting a policy without a medical exam depends on product availability and your eligibility, and on your truthful answers to a health questionnaire. The insurer may still request medical records or an exam.

Indexed universal and whole life: Cash value projections are illustrations, not guarantees. Non-guaranteed values depend on the insurer's credited rates and charges. Life insurance is not an investment or a retirement plan.

How we're paid: Quotient earns a commission from the insurer when a policy is issued. Commission varies by insurer and product. It does not change your premium or how results are ranked.
